- If you are offline for more than 1 month, the officers can choose to kick you, however, if you announce a break or that you will be returning, it is at the officers discretion whether to remove you or not.
- When you get accepted into Phoenix Legends, you become a recruit for 1 month. After the 1 month trial it is up to the officers to decide whether or not a full membership will be given. This decision will be based on how you present yourself within that month both to the officers and to guildies.
- Everybody (including ex-guildies) has to make an application before they can join. It is then up to the officers to decide upon this matter. Every member has the right to comment on the applicant, but negative comments should be PM'ed to an officer. Every comment made by a member will be taken into consideration. The decision is final.
- If you choose to apply for another guild, you should inform about this on the forum. It is then up to the officers to decide whether or not by doing so your intentions are harmful to the guild and therefore whether your future is with us.
- Botting is not allowed by Blizzard, and also not allowed by us - we want people behind the character, not programs.
- Remember that YOU are the member, and not your character, meaning that no one else is allowed to play your character while in the guild with the sole exception of other guildies.
- If you discover an obvious flaw in the rules, report it to an officer. Do not use it for your own advantage, as this will be considered the same as breaking the rules, but to a lesser extend and without the same consequences.
Guidelines
Guidelines should be followed. They are not rules, but action will be taken if the are not followed in general

- When interacting with people outside the guild, remember that you represent the name "Phoenix Legends" and therefore have to behave in an appropriate fashion. Ninjaing and leaving an instance before it's done, are not things PL wants to be known for.
- When helping a guildie with crafting from a profession a fee should not be charged as long as the craft is for the guildie's own char.
- You are encouraged to help your guildies, but you are not forced to spend your time doing something you don't want to.

- When you write in g-chat or on the forum, remember that the guild consists of many different ages, nationalities and religions. People might have opinions that differ from yours, and that should be respected.
- Whenever you write, keep in mind that the general spirit in the guild is affected by what they hear and read. Negative comments with the sole purpose of being negative, are unproductive and irritating. If you are unsatisfied with something, write constructive criticism. You will quickly find that this will get much better reactions as well.
- Remember that you don't have to comment on every single topic there is. Feel free to give some feedback, but don't state your opinion if it serves no purpose (applies to guild- raid- PvP- and bank-matters).
- Every aspect of the guild (PvP, Raid and General) has a forum for suggesting changes. When using them keep your comment as positive as possible.
- Any complaints about a guildie or a performance from anyone (including officers) should be directed to an(other) officer or the guildmaster. This will then be discussed.
Forum and G-chat guidelines
Guidelines should be followed. They are not rules, but action will be taken if they are not followed in general
- The forum and G-chat is a way of keeping in touch, it is not a trade-channel and you should not use it for that. However if someone states that they want to buy something, you are allowed to communicate this over the guild-chat or on the forum.
- Your profession should be available for other guildies, but you are not expected to re-log or spend time to get to the one that needs your profession-skill, nor should anyone demand that. You should not charge a fee if the craft is for a guildie-char as earlier stated.
- When you are looking for a group in g-chat, explain what you need, and use words, Don't just write "lfg MgT". Furthermore state if it's not a pure guild-run
- When replying to a thread, make sure you have read the basics of the thread. No point in commenting on matters you don't know anything about
- Remember that you are behind a monitor with no eye-contact to others. This means that you should not write things you wouldn't say to anyone in person, and be aware that others can't see if you are joking or being serious
