About: Phoenix Legends
Phoenix Legends was created on 22 October 2007 on Dragonmaw, EU. Many of our members originate from Night Sentinels, somewhat of a sister guild and a guild many of us stayed in for a long time and all of us loved. We currently have around 150 members and this is always growing although we are not actively recruiting. The guild is predominantly a place to share World of Warcraft with friends, and we organise many activities such as premade battleground evenings, raids to several raid instances and fun events such as the Winter Games in which members congregated in Stormwind to play silly games such as musical chairs and pass the parcel. Alongside playing together, we keep in touch through use of Ventrilo, our forum and real-life guild meet-ups.
We operate with a roster of 12 officers, including our Guild Master, separated into PvP Officers, Raid Officers and Guild Officers to try and accomodate the guilds' varied needs as best as possible.
As it stands, Phoenix Legends has cleared Karazhan, Zul'Aman, Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon's Lair and has almost completed Serpentshrine Caverns, Tempest Keep and Mount Hyjal. We are now beginning to progress onto Black Temple, managing through the superb work of our Raid Officers to keep all these instances running on our raid calendar.
We are proud to consider ourselves a semi-casual raiding guild. This means that although we make good progression, we allow all members to sign up for all raids (although a gear based priority system is in effect), and we don't have a raiding requirement, i.e. we don't dictate how often our members should raid.
